WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF CHAMPIONS OF THE DAWN
You have arrived at the website for the WoW guild Champions of the Dawn on the Eonar server!
Our guild has been active for over four years and we are a large casual raiding guild. We are a unique group that values the fun of the game and our relationships with each other. We offer our guildies various types of support such as enchanting, free low level gems, gem cutting, etc.
We are a mature guild that loves to raid but without the stress of a hardcore raiding guild.
Give the site a look see! Visit our galleries and see some of the fun we have!
If you are interested in applying to our guild please visit our forums and post to the Join Champs! board, but please review the Classes Open for Recruitment (above) before applying.
Thanks for visiting our site!
Champs fourth anniversary celibration
Happy fourth anniversary to the best guild to be in!
Guild members, remember to sign up and attend all of the fun anniversary happenings this week! If you blinked, you missed the Molten Core romp!
Happy Third Birthday, Champions!
The Champs celebrated our third anniversary this past Saturday (April 18th). Celebrations included Cake vs. Pie Open PVP (Cake won of course) as well as our at-least-annual Naked Orgrimmar Celebration. (Since we’re an Alliance Guild and don’t bring weapons, you can’t call it a raid!). Our Orgrimmar events have gotten so well known that many Horde refuse to attack us and simply join in the dancing in the Auction House.
Magtheridon toasted
The Champs continued moving forward through the Burning Crusade by taking down Magtheridon, the second 25-man boss after Gruul. Maggie, as he’s less-than-affectionately known, fell to the Champs on 4/7. Epic drops included the Thundering Greathelm and Eredar Wand of Obliteration, and Tier4 chest tokens to Crang, Crizzak and Skullgruve. Jetta won Magtheridon’s Head. Rumors that it’s still on the coffee table are completely false according to Jetta’s publicist.
Next on the agenda : Lurker Below in Serpentshrine Caverns. That fish has a date with a taxidermist!
CotD rocks the Eye
Tonight’s Guild PvP night was a blast, especially for those (like me and some others) who’d not been in Eye of the Storm previously. The Champs Win Streak made it to 6 in a row, including 2 where the horde was left with nothing to show.
The final fight was held in Alterac Basin against an Eonar Horde PvP guild - the dreaded Burrito Bandits. The Champs fought hard and managed a respectable loss against an honorable foe.
In other news, Gruul died last week again, marking back to back successes.
